Your portrait sessions are $59. What does that include?
The session fee is a $59 investment that pays for the time and talent of the photographer both during the shoot and during the post editing process. Each of your images is individually looked at and cared for.
Wedding photography starting at $299? This is a lot lower than many of your competitors. What’s the catch?
Many professional photographers offer large bundled packages that include a certain number of hours, a certain number of prints, a possible album, etc.. I have found that many couples are only interested in a portion of these “package offerings.” The starting price of $299 allows brides and grooms to build their own offering without feeling tied down to predetermined packages. When booking your wedding photography with Pristine Photo, we will sit down together and discuss all the things you want out of your wedding photography and build a package that fits perfectly.
Do you offer discounts or coupon codes?
I often have promotions and fun specials going on that can save you some $$ on getting your portraits taken. Visit my promotions page for details.
How soon do I get to see my pictures?
In most cases portraits are available within one week of your session. Wedding photography usually takes a little longer, 2-3 weeks. At the close of your session you should be told when you can expect to see your pictures.
Will you travel?
Absolutely. I am a Utah based photographer in the Logan/Cache Valley area, but I have no problems traveling to other parts of the state, country, or even the world. Travel related fees may apply, but I actually offer some pretty killer deals for out of state and destination weddings. Feel free to give me a call if you want more information.
Can I purchase my digital files and print my own pictures?
Yes. Images (digital negatives) can be purchased, and include a print release. You can purchase one image, several images, or all the images from your session.
Can you change the color of my sons shirt, remove acne, or swap heads around for me?
In most cases, yes I can. It is usually not a small task though and each of these requests vary in difficulty. Contact me for a quote.
What if I need 732 prints of a single image? Can you work with me on price?
Absolutely. For any larger print order contact me and we can work up a custom quote that fits your specific needs.
Can I order invitations or Christmas cards through you? Do you design them?
Yes, you certainly can. It cost is dependent on the size and quantity of invitations/cards needed. The design part comes without cost when you print through me.
What other products do you offer?
Prints, canvases, and albums are standard fare. But I’d had requests for jewelry, purses, puzzles, mugs and a myriad of other things. I don’t have a specific list of products, but if I can almost always find a vendor that can make whatever product you may want. Let me know what you’re looking for and we can make it happen.
How long do you archive our files? Can I get prints made from a session 5 years ago?
Image files are guaranteed to be kept for a 24 month (2 year) period from the time of your session. Often files are around much longer than that. Feel free to contact me if you need prints from a past session.
Would you teach me how to take better pictures? I want lessons.
I do not currently offer formal photography classes, but I am available for one on one or small group mentoring sessions at an hourly rate. Contact if interested.
