Brian and Karla got married about two and a half weeks ago, took off to Florida on their honeymoon and then came back to have their reception this past Saturday.
SO. EXCITED. FOR THEM.
I’m finally posting these for you all to see, though if you were at the reception last Saturday and picked up a gallery card, this may just be old news to you! Still playing catch up though, so bear with me. On a positive note, I should be finished editing their reception tomorrow! So watch for that post.
You may remember my little rant on the Pewtress family post about what a ridiculous time was had getting my extended family together for pictures. Well, we’re getting closer on getting each families portraits done. Hooray!
At any rate, here are two more family sessions to share with you!
First my brother and his family. Look at those adorable little boys!
And my little sister and her family! They sort of forgot about the color scheme. I guess its a good thing they have cute kids. 
Well, its been 2 weeks now since Brady and Marcel got hitched! Its been a wild couple of weeks for me and I’m finally getting all of my recent sessions posted… so look for more in coming days!
It was a beautiful afternoon. Finally a good weather day!
We had a small amount of time to work with and got to share the temple grounds with several hundred teenagers on youth conference, but I don’t think things could have gone more smoothly.
I pretty sure Marcel and Brady have already had a chance to view their online gallery, but for the rest of you – here is a glimpse of their happy day!

Isn’t this little girl so adorable!! I love the Oreo cookie smile too… I couldn’t help taking picture after picture of this cutie. Kids at weddings are the best!
My family (parents, siblings, spouses, etc) were supposed to get together for a big family picture last weekend – however, since we are the most ridiculous group of people in existence we somehow managed to be unable to accomplish this task. In fact, we managed to be further unable to agree on another date that would also work for said picture.
Instead, it was determined that we would take pictures in smaller family groups and that my parents would simply arrange a series of framed 8×10′s in a pleasing formation on their wall. This solved the problem of us actually having to see or interact with each other. Teasing.
At any rate, these pictures of my sister’s family are the first of the family portraits to be taken that will hopefully soon grace the wall of my parents’ home. More pictures to come from the families of my other siblings.

My lovely little sister got married on Saturday!
I’ve been dying to post these bridal portraits from a couple of weeks ago, but had to wait until her, then, fiance had seen her in her dress. Well, the deed is done and the two love birds are off honeymooning in Florida. YAY!!
So, here they are!

Marcel and Brady are getting married today, and I couldn’t be happier for them! Its been a pleasure getting to know this fun couple and I wish them the very best.
I look forward to capturing this special time for them… see you in a little more than an hour guys!
I got together with this couple on Wednesday for some formal shots at the Logan LDS temple. Unfortunately the weather was less than corporative that day, and we soon realized that trying to take pictures at the temple would be futile. We ended up at a couple of less traditional indoor locations away from the down pour outside.
We had a lot of fun, and I LOVE the results!

I met this fun couple a little while ago. They are getting married in two weeks and I’m so excited for them! I shot some engagements for them last month and just took Marcel’s bridals a week or so ago. Since I hadn’t gotten the engagement shots posted earlier I figured I’d get them both done in the same post.
The engagement session couldn’t have gone better! We were a little worried that we’d get rained out, but the clouds were perfect. And the couple was fabulous. We seriously joked that they must have had some modeling experience, they were just so natural with the camera. And what a fun location too!!
We got caught on a really blustery day for the bridal session, which made things a little more interesting. We totally made the most of it though, and got some great shots!
I absolutely LOVE these next two. Probably my favorites from the session!
I’m very seriously considering getting one of them printed and framed for a studio sample! What do you think? Which do you like better?

My beautiful sister, Francine, recently turned in her papers to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I took this head shots for her to submit with her paperwork.
It was fun to have her over for a visit and a pleasure to take her mission portraits. You’ll make a wonderful missionary, dear sister, I can’t wait to see where you end up going!
On a more humorous note, my little guy desperately wanted to be a part of this shoot. He went upstairs and found a stool and sat on it, along side Francine, for nearly the whole time. Ha ha. Since we were basically just doing head shots, I let him stay there.
The silly kid grinned almost every time I lifted the camera – funny that he didn’t realize that I wasn’t actually taking pictures of him. I think he just missed hanging with his aunt. Anyway, here is an snap showing him on his little perch.
